Anchoring
Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.
A release response is conditioned to the earliest warning signal.
Hypnotherapy for tension headaches and migraine management, alongside medical care.
Many headache patterns involve a loop of muscular bracing, stress and anticipation. Each element feeds the next, and the fear of the next headache is part of the mechanism.
We work on the loop, not on the diagnosis, in coordination with your physician.
Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.
A release response is conditioned to the earliest warning signal.
A structured conversation in trance with the specific part of you that carries the symptom, so it can update what it is doing.
The bracing pattern is addressed at the level that maintains it.
Changing the meaning attached to an event or urge so the same facts stop producing the same reaction.
Anticipation is separated from onset so the fear stops contributing.
Only your prescriber can make that call.
Commonly three to five, with a recording.
Sessions are held online over Zoom, run 45–90 minutes, and are billed at a flat $200. Your first session includes an additional 30-minute intake interview at no charge.
Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for licensed medical or mental health treatment. IBPH practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication, and we work alongside your care team.
