Hypnotherapy for Skin Conditions

Hypnotherapy support for stress-reactive skin conditions, alongside dermatological care.

How We See It

Skin is highly responsive to the nervous system — blushing is the everyday proof. Conditions such as eczema and psoriasis frequently flare with stress, and the itch-scratch cycle then sustains them independently.

We work on the stress response and on the scratching habit, alongside your dermatologist's treatment.

What People Usually Describe

  • Flares track stressful periods
  • Scratching happens in sleep or without awareness
  • Embarrassment about the skin adds its own stress load
  • Topical treatment helps and the cycle restarts

How We Make the Change

Anchoring

Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.

A cooling, settling response is conditioned to the itch signal instead of scratching.

Parts Therapy

A structured conversation in trance with the specific part of you that carries the symptom, so it can update what it is doing.

The automatic scratching behavior is brought back under awareness.

Reframing

Changing the meaning attached to an event or urge so the same facts stop producing the same reaction.

Self-consciousness about the skin, which raises the stress load, is addressed.

Common Questions

Will this replace my cream?

No — keep using what your dermatologist prescribed.

Does it help with sleep scratching?

Often, yes, with a nightly recording.

Work on This with Us

Sessions are held online over Zoom, run 45–90 minutes, and are billed at a flat $200. Your first session includes an additional 30-minute intake interview at no charge.

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for licensed medical or mental health treatment. IBPH practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication, and we work alongside your care team.
