Hypnotherapy for Sugar & Carb Cravings

Hypnotherapy for sugar and carbohydrate cravings — changing the pull, not just resisting it.

How We See It

Cravings are learned predictions. The body has been taught that a specific taste at a specific hour will fix a specific dip, and it keeps issuing the prediction on schedule.

In trance those predictions can be re-taught, so the pull loses its urgency instead of being white-knuckled.

What People Usually Describe

  • The craving arrives on a clock
  • Sweet food is what you want when tired, not hungry
  • One serving reliably becomes several
  • Cutting out sugar makes you think about nothing else

How We Make the Change

Anchoring

Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.

The craving cue becomes the trigger for a settling response rather than a search.

Reframing

Changing the meaning attached to an event or urge so the same facts stop producing the same reaction.

The food's meaning is updated so it stops registering as rescue.

Future Pacing

Rehearsing the new response in the exact situations where the old one used to run.

The 3 PM dip and the after-dinner hour are rehearsed with the new pattern.

Common Questions

Will I stop enjoying sweet things?

Most clients keep the enjoyment and lose the compulsion.

How long does it last?

We build in reinforcement and a recording so it holds.
