Hypnotherapy for Depression

Adjunctive hypnotherapy for low mood, alongside medical and mental health care.

How We See It

Depression flattens motivation, meaning and movement at once, which is why advice to simply do more lands as cruelty.

Working alongside your clinical care, we address the internal narrative and the unresolved losses that keep the flatness in place, and rebuild small, reachable states of agency.

What People Usually Describe

  • Effort produces no reward signal
  • The internal commentary is relentless and specific
  • Withdrawal from the people who help
  • A loss or period that never fully resolved

How We Make the Change

Reframing

Changing the meaning attached to an event or urge so the same facts stop producing the same reaction.

The absolute, self-directed conclusions are tested against the same facts and loosened.

Timeline Therapy

Revisiting the moment a pattern was installed and giving that younger self what was missing then.

Unresolved loss carrying present weight is addressed at its source.

Values Alignment

Lining the desired change up with what you already care about most, so willpower stops being the fuel.

Small actions are attached to real meaning rather than to obligation.

Anchoring

Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.

Access to a steadier state is made repeatable rather than accidental.

Common Questions

Can I do this while on medication?

Yes. Never change medication because of hypnotherapy; that is your prescriber's decision.

What if I have no energy for sessions?

Sessions are online, seated, and we set the pace to what you have.

Work on This with Us

Sessions are held online over Zoom, run 45–90 minutes, and are billed at a flat $200. Your first session includes an additional 30-minute intake interview at no charge.

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for licensed medical or mental health treatment. IBPH practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication, and we work alongside your care team.
