Habits & Compulsions

Hypnotherapy for Tobacco

Online hypnotherapy for tobacco use — resolving the reason the habit is still doing a job for you.

How We See It

Most people who smoke have already quit successfully — sometimes for months. The cigarette is not the problem; the job it does is. It marks a break, ends a meal, holds a feeling at arm's length, or belongs to a version of you that you are not ready to give up.

We work with the part of you that keeps the habit alive rather than against it. When that part has another way to do its job, the behavior stops needing enforcement.

What People Usually Describe

  • You quit easily and then relapse at one specific type of moment
  • The strongest urges attach to routines, not to nicotine levels
  • Stopping feels like losing something rather than gaining something
  • You have used patches or gum and the craving simply relocated

How We Make the Change

Parts Negotiation

Sitting down with the part of you that wants the change and the part that keeps protecting the old behavior, and getting them to agree on terms.

We find the positive intent behind the cigarette — the pause, the permission, the identity — and agree on a replacement the protective part actually accepts.

Values Alignment

Lining the desired change up with what you already care about most, so willpower stops being the fuel.

Quitting gets attached to what you already care about most, so it stops depending on daily willpower.

Anchoring

Attaching a calm, resourceful state to a physical cue you can use in the moment you need it.

A physical cue is conditioned to the calm the cigarette used to deliver, available in the exact minute the urge arrives.

Future Pacing

Rehearsing the new response in the exact situations where the old one used to run.

We rehearse the first drink with friends, the drive home, the argument — the specific scenes where relapse used to happen.
